Mushrooms in Lunigiana

Lunigiana’s mushrooms are very famous because of their delicious taste. The main species is the high quality Porcino, which belongs to the Boletus family. The stem is brown and the chapel of the fungus is dark brown. Lunigiana’s mushrooms grow in the woods of the Magra’s high valleys. There are four species of Boletus, each of them perfect for Risotti, Polenta and roasted meat accompanied with high quality red wines.
